Our membership is an exclusive group of attorneys who are committed to serving their clients and making Vermont a better, safer, and healthier place to live and work. We assure that our members and their clients have access to the tools, resources, and opportunities needed.  We are the most innovative, interactive network of trial lawyers in the state. Vermont Association for Justice's legislative advocacy and political involvement puts our members at the center of our beliefs.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION The programs presented by VTAJ throughout the year are geared to enhance your practice and abilities as trial lawyers and to better serve your clients and the public.  All programs are certified for CLE credit. Members always attend our CLE programs at a reduced rate. 

LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATION VTAJ has one of the finest legislative teams in the state. This group of member volunteers and paid lobbyists monitor all legislation introduced during the session and committee action during the interim. They serve to preserve and improve the role of the justice system in protecting Vermont’s citizens.  To that end, VTAJ works to promote understanding and goodwill with Vermont state legislators.

ONLINE MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY Annual online directory containing searchable alphabetical, geographical and “fields of practice” listings of all VTAJ members, located on the VTAJ website. This online directory has a “Find a Lawyer” tool for both members, non-member attorney colleagues and for the public.

POLITICAL  SUPPORT VTAJ’s non-partisan political legislative committee supports legislative candidates who adhere to VTAJ’s philosophy of the protection of consumers’ rights and ethical practice of trial law.
 

AAJ AFFILIATION VTAJ also coordinates projects and protects the trial bar’s legislative interests in cooperation with the American Association for Justice.
